Description
Make an retro nurse’s cap just like on the Marcus Welby Show. Titled “St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital- The Pants Look, 1972”, you see advocacy for nurses wearing pants and shorts as part of the uniform. Go Women’s Lib! Note the peek of the nurse’s cap on the woman on the right. I really like the mini dress with the shorts underneath. (source: Elgin County Archives)
How to Use
The edges of the design are made to be cut. Use the eyelette embroidered in the design to fasten. Just gentley cut holes, fold along the single-stitched lines, and fasten with white satin cording or yarn.
Who knows, you might meet the doctor! (or another nurse!)
